Florida Divorce Lawyer
Q.Are there any lawyers in florida that don't charge an arm and a lag for a divorce ? No public aid !? I have friend in Florida that is trying to get a divorce. All lawyers want 2500.00 up front. most singal woman don't have that kind of money. Public aid puts you on a list and still charges you 800.00.This is very important , yes there are two kids invold. Can anyone give me some advice???
A.You could try legal aid...there should be an office located somewhere in each city...google it. You generally can't "do it yourself" divorce when there are kids involved...so they are going to need a lawyer. One thing that can be done to save money is for the client to instruct the attorney to let him (the client) do whatever parts he can...make copies, all of the legwork involved, etc...it can save time, which saves money, since with lawyers, time=money. youcan be your own lawyer and file your own devorce proceedings , if there are children innvolved and you and your spouse can come to amicable agreement, on child support or what ever else , there is no need for a lawyer, if one or the other won;t agree then most attorneys will take the case with the intentions of collecting from the husband , unless he absconded or impaired,
