Find Immigration Lawyer
Q.I need an advice on how to find a good Immigration Lawyer/Consultant. In addition, I have the following questions pertinent to Inland Spousal Sponsorship in Canada that has been dragged on and on above all understandable time limits without any visible horizons for getting the aproval-in-principal. 1. Can they[Lawyers/Consultants] influence an application processing time? 2. What kind of techniques can they excercise to achieve positive results? 3. Are they able to put any pressure on immigration officers? 4. Are they likely to have some "friends" in the immigration department? 5. Are they able to get more information [such as why the
A.a lawyer/consultant can't affect the immigration process, only the application. So if you can't write in english or french, or you are useless with forms or have a complicated application , they can make sure its absolutley right, no mistakes and presented in the best possible way to facilitate the CIC'c understanding of it and hopefuly avoid complications and misundertandings that can cause you to be refused or called to interview whcih adds delay. but an inland spousal application is very straightforward and unlikely to be refused. and if it was it would be on criminal or medical grounds and a consultant.lawyer cant change those. you may end up wanting to hire one for an appeal or something, but there is no sense in paying a few thousand dollars now for something you can download for free off the internet and fill in yoruself. it's not hard. there are extensive guides to tell you how to fill it in, and like CIC says on its website, the forms arent complicated and they dont recommend you need help filling them in. Unless however your case is complicated and relies on sepcific things you dont think you can sort out yourself and that you want to be 100% right.
