Find A Pro Bono Lawyer
Q.Does n e one know where i can find a pro bono lawyer in nc? i need a lwayer, but can not afford one. it is not a big deal type of case, but i know it would be better for me to have one, than to ask for a court appointed one. Maybe even some one who would do it for the military, as i am a military wife. Any help for me???
A.Depending on what the case is about, I would recommend going to the judge who will be trying you and mention due to mitigating circumstances, you need a court appointed attorney. Who ever they appt if you are not satisfied with them, the will represent you another. Being a military wife, depending on branch, perhaps you could contact the courts for this branch for advice. Hope this is of assistance. Your local bar association can usually hook you up with one.
