Find A Lawyer Massachusetts
Q.I need Help.I need a lawyer for a case in the Massachusetts federal court. I have a court appointed attorney but he is so overworked and doesn't want to do the job. he only wants me to plead guilty and move on to his next case How do I find a Lawyer. The government has taken all my assets. over 100 grand worth of computers, my business and everything I own. Is there anyway of getting a Lawyer and having the government pay for them or am I stuck with this guy I have now. I won't plead guilty for something I haven't done and I don't want to defend myself. This system really sucks if you don't have the money to pay.
A.You have the right to represent youself. What's the deal? R there critical witnesses or paperwork to be subpoenaed? If you make arrangements for a credible defense the prosecution may offer a reasonable plea bargain, and if not you can try it yourself and get the judge to appoint the PD as your assistant. All it says is that you have to exhaust your administrative remadies by using the administrative procedures available at a state or federal agency before you can file a law suit. Anyone who has ever studied a high school law class or worked for the state or federal government or knows anyone who has should know this rule. You have to asked them to pay you or take care of your before you sue them. What's hard about this to understand.
