Environmental Law
Q.Does anybody happen to know which environmental law programs are ranked highest? I hear Vermont and Lewis and Clark are at the top of the list although the schools themselves are not up there on the "rating scale". Anyone can help me???

New York University But speaking of schools on the "rating scale," I might as well put in a plug for my school, Georgetown, since I'm studying environmental law here. It's got a good balance of general rank as well as environmental rank, and besides, it's got one of the best reputed clinical programs of all law schools, and one of those clinical programs *is* an environmental law clinic. (Not that we're the only school with that either, though.) As someone planning on practicing environmental law, I think this was a great choice. We've got excellent faculty, and a great location if you're planning at all on doing government work (I'll be at DOJ Environment this summer). We even have a lot of support for doing international environmental work as well.
