Boston Divorce Lawyer
Q.Does anyone know for sure whom Fred Korth (future Secretary of the Navy, following his old friend, John Connally, recommended by another old friend, LBJ) represented during divorce proceedings between Marguerite Oswald and Edward Ekdahl in 1948? Most books I have checked indicate it was Marguerite, but at least one internet site states it was Ekdahl. - Peter R. Whitmey
A.I should add that Korth became president of a bank in Ft. Worth at some point in his career and was Assistant Secretary of the Army in 1952, so it is hard to believe he would be representing Marguerite. Ekdahl was apparently an engineer originally from Boston and considerably older than Marguerite. He was also quite tall, and one photo with Marguerite suggests it isn't Oswald's mother, as she was much shorter than the woman in the photo. John Armstrong has dealt with this intriguing puzzle and came up with another woman named Marguerite, also from Louisiana.
