Remember that in a self-defense case the burden of proof of justification is on you and your attorney (by pleading self-defense you admitted to taking a life ) Many many defense attorneys are used to defending the guilty and just try to get them off or minimize prison time by working technicallities rather than arguing the strength of the facts. Look up the case on Saustrop and see who his lawyer was, won his case and he is very pro gun, I just don't remember his name.
