Attorney Client Privilege

Q.Does the email have attorney-client privilege?

A.It depends. Are you a client of that lawyer? Is the other person who was copied also a client of that lawyer? If both of you are clients of the same lawyer in the same case, then the a/c privilege could apply. If you are clients of different lawyers, but both on the same side of a case, then there's an issue that may turn on how your state applies the privilege law. If you're clients of different lawyers in different cases, there is no privilege.
